Does EasyEquities offer a stock screener as of May 2024?

When selecting stocks for your portfolio, a stock screener can be a great help in narrowing down your research. Having this feature directly at your preferred broker can make your life much easier.

Unfortunately, EasyEquities does not offer a stock screener on its trading platform. To trade stocks on a great platform that offers a stock screening tool, check our best stock brokers toplist.

My findings in a nutshell

I am an active trader who invests in stocks on a daily basis, and I usually start my research with a stock screener to find ideal investment targets. I checked out EasyEquities's trading platform to see what it offers in terms of stock screeners and this is what I found:

  • EasyEquities does not offer a stock screening tool for its users.
  • This is a shame, as screeners can help in research when looking for stocks to invest in.
  • EasyEquities is otherwise a legit broker: check our review to learn about its strengths.

What is a stock screening tool?

A stock screening tool helps investors search for the best investment opportunities in the vast world of stocks. It lets you filter and sort through thousands of publicly traded companies to find the ones that match your specific criteria and goals.

Imagine you have a list of all the companies in the stock market, and you want to find the ones that fit your investment strategy. With a stock screening tool, you can set filters based on various factors like company size, industry, financial health and growth prospects. For example, you could look for medium-sized technology companies with strong revenue growth and low debt.

The screening tool then sifts through the list and presents you with a much smaller, more manageable list of companies that meet your criteria. This makes it much easier for you to research and consider these companies for your investment portfolio.

In simple terms, a stock screening tool is like a search engine for stocks, helping you find the ones that best match your investment preferences and objectives, saving you time and effort in the process. It's a valuable tool for investors to identify potential investments and start building a diversified portfolio.

Below is what (if anything) our EasyEquities review has to say overall about other research tools at EasyEquities:

How to access a stock screener

As noted above, EasyEquities does not offer a stock screening tool. Check the offering of other stockbrokers at BrokerChooser to find which ones offer stock screeners:

In addition to brokerages' own trading platforms, there are also third-party providers that offer stock screening tools. Some of them are free, while others charge one-off fees or subscriptions. A popular option is the charting tool TradingView, which has screeners for several asset types, including stocks. You can read more about its services in our dedicated TradingView page.
