Fortunately, many brokers have a convenient tool to help you kick this habit: price alerts. You can set one up simply by entering an alert price (either a specific price or a percentage below or above the current price). If the stock hits that price, it will trigger an alert that you'll see on your phone or computer, allowing you to log in and buy or sell the stock as you see fit.
