A crypto wallet is a device that allows cryptocurrency users to store and retrieve their digital assets. There are two types of wallets:

  • hot wallet
  • cold wallet

The basic difference is that a hot wallet is directly connected to the internet; while a cold wallet, which is usually a physical device, does not have direct internet connection.
