My key findings in a nutshell

I've thoroughly tested Stake services with our analyst team by opening a real-money account and these are my most important findings:

  • You can only trade using your own funds at Stake, margin trading and the use of leverage is not available.
  • Margin rates are only applied by brokers that allow margin trading.
  • Trading on margin or using leverage means that you borrow funds from your broker to increase your buying power.
  • Since margin trading and the use of leverage is not supported by Stake, you cannot short sell assets either.
