Interest on uninvested cash
At the time of our review, CapTrader provided the following interest rates on uninvested cash:
3.1% for USD
3.2% for GBP
1.7% for EUR
However, CapTrader only pays interest above a certain cash amount. The minimum amount you need to have in your account to receive any interest is $10,000 (or the equivalent amount in another currency).
If the Net Asset Value (NAV) of your account is $100,000 or more (or the equivalent amount in another currency), you will receive credit interest at the full interest rate
If your (NAV) is below $100,000 (or equivalent), you will receive interest at rates proportional to the size of the account. For example, an account with a NAV of $50,000 earns credit interest at a rate equal to one-half the rate paid to accounts with a NAV of $100,000 or more.
CapTrader pays interest on 23 different currencies.
